Three FKT Attempts
Focused trail efforts built around endurance, efficiency, route execution, and self-supported problem solving.
ULTRARUNNING • ENDURANCE • COACHING
I’m Aaron — an ultrarunner, husband, father, IT Director, and endurance coach. I chase big distances, coach athletes in the real world, and intentionally keep social media out of the equation.
ABOUT
Distance Dude is my home on the internet. I stepped away from social media intentionally to protect my mental space, stay present with my family, and keep running connected to the reasons I started in the first place.
My influence isn’t built around a follower count. It comes from the athletes I coach, the runners I train with, the races I show up to, the products I use hard, and the recommendations people ask me for every week.
2027
Focused trail efforts built around endurance, efficiency, route execution, and self-supported problem solving.
A major ultra-endurance target and a centerpiece of my 2027 race calendar.
Another long-form mountain effort where gear, fueling, recovery, and consistency matter for days, not hours.
COACHING
I currently serve as a hydration and endurance coach for two high schools and for the Cabrillo College men’s and women’s tennis programs.
That gives me something I value more than passive impressions: direct conversations with athletes about training, hydration, fueling, recovery, equipment, and what actually works under real conditions.
FOR BRANDS
I work best with brands whose products naturally fit into my training, racing, coaching, and recovery. I’m not looking to collect logos. I’m interested in long-term relationships where I can test products hard, provide useful feedback, represent the brand at endurance events, and recommend products authentically to athletes who trust my experience.
PARTNERSHIPS
I’d be happy to talk about product testing, athlete partnerships, race support, coaching integration, or long-term ambassador opportunities.
